Make a statement with this elegant stole that is handwoven using a special technique - Tangaliya. The handful of weavers from Surendranagar in Gujarat, who carry forward the Tangaliya weave will proudly tell you that this is one weave that can never be done on a machine. What makes it impossible to make is the small thread beads that are manually added during the weaving, to create unique patterns.
Traditionally done on wool and used as skirts, this weave is being adapted to modern drapes and is thus being revived.
